Sol.

Sol is the optimist of the herd. He greets each new venue like an old friend, leans into a stranger's hand within thirty seconds, and seems to wake up every morning genuinely pleased about the day. We have not yet found a guest who did not smile back at him.

He is bonded with Marigold, a slightly older jenny who arrived at Wildbrook with him in 2024. Marigold sets the pace. Sol does the social work. They are, together, the most easygoing pair we travel with.

His best work is in daylight — brunch socials, ceremony hour, garden parties under string lights. He wears a woven flower crown that our local florist makes fresh on the morning of each event. He has never once tried to eat it. He has, occasionally, tried to eat the bouquet.
